Social Media Community Manager- Ad Agency Exp Strongly Preferred

We are looking for a Social Media Community Manager to join our Social Platforms group. This person will track and monitor trends in technology and consumer behavior to identify opportunities, and cultivate the social media presence for our clients. This is a contract position.

The correct candidate for this role has demonstrated experience working as a a Community Manager, and is always on the lookout for new ways to connect with consumers.
 
In this role you will...
  • Develop integrated social media strategies that achieve client goals and business objectives.
  • Identify social media opportunities with existing and prospective clients and cultivate those opportunities into new business.
  • Clearly present strong conceptual and strategic direction internal teams and client.
  • Deliver flawless execution of deliverables.
  • Develop cross-channel social media ecosystems that include channel specific content strategies, editorial calendars and strategic roadmaps.
  • Work with Production and Creative teams to execute social media programs and campaigns.
  • Use analytics to measure the impact of social media programs and create actionable, client-facing reports.
What we are looking for...
  • A deep knowledge of social media technologies, platforms and services. 
  • Prior experience managing and team in a client-facing role.
  • The ability to wear multiple hats in a "blink and you'll" miss it environment.

Required experience includes...
  • Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, advertising, media studies or similar field.
  • 3+ years of post- college experience working as a social media community manager. 
  • Experience developing interactive applications and/or social media design.
    • Strong portfolio of past work.
  • Experience working in Account Management or similar client-facing role.
  • 3+ years working in a similar role at an advertising or digital agency is strongly preferred. 
  • Proven experience with MS Office: Powerpoint, Word and Excel. 
  • Deep understanding of social media metrics and analytics tools.
  • Exceptional knowledge of industry trends.
